Mother's Day!

My mom got her Mother's Day gift yesterday. Here's the email she sent me:

Hi Lauren!
Your "bottle of memories" made me laugh and cry at the same time!! I had no idea that you learned anything worthwhile from me! I am so glad that you have such good memories of your childhood and I am especially happy with how close we have grown in the last couple of years. This is the best gift that a mother could ever want and represents a lifetime of love. I think I'll make a scrapbook with my memories! Wish I had pictures to go with each one!

Mother's Day gift

Here's my mother's day gift! It cost $0 to make. The jelly jar is an old jar from my fridge and the paper I had lying around the house.

On the slips of paper I wrote memories of my mother, things I learned from her, and questions I wanted to ask her.

I wanted to do 365 slips of paper, and tell her to read one every day. But the jar isn't that big, so I just did about 100. I'm going to include a card with this jar telling her what it is and what to do with it.

I love it! And I'm sure my mom will too.
